Running Through Tradition: Hernando Water Tower 10K 2024

Toyota of Hernando was proud to be part of the Hernando Water Tower 10K on October 11, 2024, one of the most anticipated community events of the year.

Set around the historic Hernando Town Square, this annual race brings together runners, families, and supporters from across the Mid-South for a day centered on fitness, fun, and community pride. The course winds through some of Hernando’s most scenic areas and highlights the city’s iconic water tower—making it a race that feels uniquely local.

From early morning packet pickup to the energy at the starting line, the excitement was felt throughout the entire event. Participants of all ages and experience levels came out to run, walk, and cheer each other on, creating an atmosphere that goes far beyond just a race.

Beyond the competition, the Water Tower 10K is about giving back. Events like this continue to support important community initiatives and bring people together for a shared purpose.

Our team enjoyed being involved, connecting with participants, and supporting an event that truly represents the heart of Hernando. Whether it was cheering runners on, being part of the setup, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, it was a day well spent.
