The DeSoto Wings and Ribs Competition Festival is one of those events everyone looks forward to every year. You’ve got some of the best grill teams around setting up, firing up the pits, and competing to see who really has the best ribs and wings in the Mid-South. It all goes down at Olive Branch City Park, and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect—busy, loud, and full of good food.

It’s not just about the competition either. There’s live music, games, people hanging out, and plenty of chances to try different flavors from teams all over the area. You’ll see everything from traditional recipes to some pretty creative takes, and the People’s Choice tasting always brings a crowd.

We were out there supporting our partners at 10th Inning and Ember & Oaks Prime, and they showed up strong. It’s always good seeing local businesses come together like that and represent.

The event also supports the DeSoto County Dream Center, helping provide resources for families right here in the community.
