Breakfast With Our Heroes 2026 Brings the Community Together at Toyota of Hernando
On May 8, 2026, Toyota of Hernando proudly hosted our annual Breakfast With Our Heroes event in Hernando, Mississippi, welcoming first responders, healthcare workers, military members, educators, and community leaders from across DeSoto County, North Mississippi, Memphis, and the surrounding Tri-State area.
From 7AM to 11AM, the dealership was filled with incredible people who dedicate their lives to serving others every day. Police officers, sheriff deputies, firefighters, EMTs, nurses, doctors, veterans, dispatchers, and community volunteers stopped by throughout the morning to enjoy breakfast, fellowship, giveaways, and appreciation from the local community.
This event continues to grow every year, and 2026 was one of the biggest turnouts yet. Guests traveled in from Hernando, Southaven, Olive Branch, Horn Lake, Byhalia, Senatobia, Nesbit, Walls, Tunica, Batesville, Coldwater, and even the greater Memphis, Tennessee area. Seeing so many surrounding counties and communities come together under one roof was a reminder of how strong and connected our region truly is.
Supporting the Heroes of North Mississippi and the Memphis Area
At Toyota of Hernando, we believe supporting the community goes beyond selling vehicles. Events like Breakfast With Our Heroes are about recognizing the people who show up for others during emergencies, difficult moments, and everyday life.
Whether it is law enforcement keeping our neighborhoods safe, nurses and doctors caring for patients, firefighters responding to emergencies, or military members serving our country, this event was designed to simply say thank you.
Our team was honored to spend the morning with so many incredible people from across DeSoto County and the Mid-South region. Conversations, laughter, networking, and appreciation filled the showroom as community members connected with one another over breakfast and coffee.
Chef Shorty From Owen Brennan’s Was the Star of the Morning
One of the biggest highlights of the event was the incredible food experience led by Chef Shorty from Owen Brennan's.
Chef Shorty brought energy, personality, and unforgettable flavor to the event, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about parts of the morning. Guests lined up for breakfast while enjoying the authentic hospitality and experience that Owen Brennan’s has become known for throughout the Memphis area.
Having a well-known Memphis restaurant and chef participate helped bring together communities from both North Mississippi and West Tennessee, showing once again how connected the Mid-South truly is.
