Building Safer Riders: Bicycle Safety Village 2025

Toyota of Hernando was proud to be part of the Bicycle Safety Village on June 21, 2025—an event focused on helping kids and families stay safe while having fun on two wheels.

This hands-on community event gave young riders the opportunity to learn essential bicycle safety skills in a fun and interactive environment. From understanding traffic signs and road rules to practicing safe riding techniques, every station was designed to build confidence and awareness.

With the support of local partners, including law enforcement, the event created a safe space for kids to learn directly from those who help keep our roads secure every day. Seeing officers engage with families and teach real-world safety tips made a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Of course, it wasn’t all lessons—there was plenty of fun mixed in, making it a great day for the entire family. Events like this are a great reminder that safety starts with education, and when the community comes together, we can make a real difference.
